Aconquija (2026)

Paisaje Protegido Aconquija (PPA) is a collective landscape where NGOs, private companies, local government, schools and scientists work together to protect the 'yungas' (cloud forests) of Tucumán province, Argentina, by balancing conservation, production, and local welfare. ‪

Fundación ProYungas has united dozens of organizations on a journey which will reintroduce tapirs to the wild, integrate local communities, and sustain agricultural production in the face of climate change.
